Angelus Flat White Paint

Angelus Flat White Paint is a flat white leather paint that dries with almost no shine, for projects that need a low-gloss, matte look. It's water-based acrylic, stays flexible once dry, and covers in 3 to 5 thin coats on a properly prepped surface.

It's the matte white shoe paint for clean sneaker restorations, custom details, and leather goods, in 1 oz., 4 oz., pint, or quart sizes. We've made Angelus products in Los Angeles since 1907.

Before and after you paint

On leather, take off the factory finish first with 3 to 5 passes of Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer. When you're done, seal it with Angelus 4-Coat in Flat or Matte to protect the paint and keep the low sheen.

What's the difference between Flat White and White?

Flat White dries with almost no shine, while Angelus White has the standard Angelus finish.

Will a finisher make Flat White shiny?

Not if you use 4-Coat in Flat or Matte, which protects the paint while keeping it low sheen.

Can you airbrush Angelus Flat White?

Yes. Use an airbrush with at least a 0.35mm nozzle, and thin the paint with Angelus 2-Thin if you need it to flow more easily.

How much paint do I need?

A 1 oz. bottle usually covers 2 to 3 pairs of shoes completely. For a leather chair, plan on about a pint to a quart, and for a full couch, a quart or two.
