Angelus Rust Suede Dye is a suede dye in a warm rust for restoring faded suede or changing its color on boots, Timberlands, and Wallabees. It soaks into the suede fibers instead of sitting on top like paint, so the nap stays soft.

Choose a 3 oz. bottle, pint, or quart.

How to use it

  1. Brush the nap up with the Angelus Nubuck & Suede Kit so the dye reaches the fibers.
  2. Apply the dye evenly with a wool dauber.
  3. Let it dry completely, then add another coat if you want it deeper.
  4. Brush the nap up again to restore the texture.

Before you dye

Because the dye soaks in, the final color depends on the suede underneath. For example, red dye on white suede turns pink, not true red. Dye works best going the same color or darker, so test on a hidden spot first.

What customers say

“Easy to apply, and I love the color! I saved some cash by buying a pair of beige suede shoes on sale and dying them myself.”
